Static safe ABS is a permanently ESD protective material. This means it is an ideal material for housing or securing electrically sensitive components. Static safe ABS is a tested and true material for keeping parts safe from electrostatic discharge.

In addition to the favorable material properties, static safe ABS is surprisingly easy to print with. With good bed adhesion on multiple surface types, mild warpage, and high melt flow, this material will hold up to many of your printing needs.

As with most ABS materials, static safe ABS prints much better in an enclosed printer that is protected from rapid cooling.

Printing Properties:

Static safe ABS discolors and can burn quickly at temperatures exceeding 200°C, so hotends should not be left sitting for more than 10 mins while material is loaded and heaters are on.
